Anti-MINA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Opis: MINA Antibody: MINA is nuclear localized, myc-inducible protein that is thought to play a role in mammalian cell proliferation. Treatment of cancer cells lines such as the colon cancer cell line SW680 with siRNA against MINA inhibits cell growth, demonstrating that MINA may be a potential therapeutic target. MINA regulates several genes related to cell adhesion and metabolism that have also been shown to be regulated by c-Myc, but also regulates other genes whose expression are not modulated by c-Myc such as EGFR, IL-6 and HGF. MINA has also been found to act as a repressor to IL-4 expression in T cells, indicating that it may also play a role in T cell differentiation and genetic variation in T helper type 2 bias.

Anti-QPCT Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Opis: QPCT is responsible for the biosynthesis of pyroglutamyl peptides. QPCT has a bias against acidic and tryptophan residues adjacent to the N-terminal glutaminyl residue and a lack of importance of chain length after the second residue. It also catalyzes N-terminal pyroglutamate formation. In vitro, catalyzes pyroglutamate formation of N-terminally truncated form of APP amyloid-beta peptides [Glu-3]-beta-amyloid. QPCT may be involved in the N-terminal pyroglutamate formation of several amyloid-related plaque-forming peptides.This gene encodes human pituitary glutaminyl cyclase, which is responsible for the presence of pyroglutamyl residues in many neuroendocrine peptides. The amino acid sequence of this enzyme is 86% identical to that of bovine glutaminyl cyclase. 01_Wodne podłoże montażowe, Neo-Mount®

Opis: Water-free mounting media, such as Neo-Mount®, should be used for permanent mounting and long-term storage of samples. Slides processed in pathologyl laboratories need to be stored up to 10 years, whereby the staining results need to be stable and fading-out is not acceptable. Neo-Mount®, anhydrous mounting medium for microscopy is an extremely colour-stable mounting medium for microscopy, which is produced with solvents based on mixtures of aliphatic hydrocarbons. It contains an aromatic-free substitute for xylene, thus, Neo-Mount® needs to be combined with Neo-Clear® exclusively. Xylene must be avoided in the mounting step, as it will cause the slides to become cloudy and streaked. In addition, by placing the dehydrated slides on filter paper for approx. 1 minute prior to mounting, any excess Neo-Clear® should be circumvented, as air bubbles might arise under the cover slip. The same pre-condition should also be met when mounting specimens using cover slip machines; in this area, Neo-Clear® can be most efficiently eliminated by incubating the slides for 1 minute in an empty slide rack.

Opis: CD86 (B7-2) is a 60-100 kDa variably glycosylated protein in the B7 family. B7 family members are transmembrane cell surface molecules that play important roles in immune activation and the maintenance of immune tolerance. B7-2 is highly expressed on activated antigen presenting cells (APC), e.g. B cells, dendritic cells and monocytes as well as on vascular endothelial cells. B7-2 and the closely related CD80 (B7-1) exhibit overlapping but distinct functional properties. Their binding to CD28, which is constitutively expressed on T cells, enhances T cell receptor signalling and also provides TCR-independent costimulation. B7-1 and B7-2 additionally bind the CD28-related protein CTLA-4, which is up-regulated and recruited to the immunological synapse (IS) at the onset of T cell activation. CTLA-4 ligation inhibits the T cell response and supports regulatory T cell function. B7-2 is expressed earlier than B7-1 following APC activation and both proteins bind with higher affinity to CTLA-4 than to CD28. B7-2 promotes the stabilisation of CD28 in the IS, while B7-1 is primarily responsible for promoting CTLA-4 recruitment and accumulation in the IS. The relative participation of B7-1 and B7-2 in T cell costimulation can also alter the Th1/Th2 bias of the immune response. Both B7-1 and B7-2 serve as cellular receptors for B species adenoviruses.
